Read without reading the others. Was confused for like. maybe 3 pages. Then caught up pretty quick. Even added a star since I was the idiot who read book 5 without any idea. I hate that there is character that is ALWAYS called Cassie's Mom. I mean. Does she have a name. forreal. Don't waste the space in your kindle. I think most people would just read this cause they were invested from the beginning.Product details

Things start to move quickly, the baby needs to come straight away, Lance shows his true colours and Lucy has a new battle to fight.
Lance realises, something he knew all along but didn't want to admit, that he loves Lucy, and among all the turmoil, Lance finally tells Lucy.
Lucy is able to put her past to sleep finally after she tells Lance about Brad. But even after that and Lance declaring his love for her, Lucy still does not believe that Lance is loving her for the right reasons.
Slowly but surely the reality of everything starts to really hit home for Lucy. It is then that she decides her priorities need to change...and they need to include Lance and Baby Samantha, together as a family.
I was really worried that some third party was going to ruin things as per the usual Sharon Cummin style...but the only enemies in this story were Lucy and her stubbornness and Lance and his ego! Once they both got themselves in check it was a beautiful ending to a most tumultuous love story!

So All leading up to this part Lucy has told Lance about her pregnancy, he's bought her a house, and really wants to make things work with her. She's still hesitant over what happened with brad and is truly scared to give her heart away. After going in for a routine check up the dr sends Lucy over to the hospital to be admitted where she fails to call Lance but instead calls Carries mom. Not listening to Lucy carries mom calls Lance. This progress fast and next thing you know Lucy is giving birth. Complications arrive and she ends up unconscious for a bit where Lance is faced with having to admit his feelings. Lucy again doesn't want to hear it. She's afraid he'll either leave or worse. It's easier to keep him at arms length and there for the baby than anything.
Once they leave the hospital things progress between the 2 and they are forced to admit their feelings for each other. Lance and Lucy finally get their happy ending!!!!
Oh my!! This series has been filled with so much love, hot sex, tears, and laughs!!!! I love Scott and Carrie but Lance and Lucy are by far my favorite couple! At first I didn't think the 2 would get their happy ending but they did!!!! I couldn't get enough of this series and was impatiently waiting each installment. I hate that it ended but hopefully will hear a bit more from them when James and Sammie come out with a story!
Totally the best ever! I cried, I laughed, and I cried some more. It was over the top amazing. They will live on in my heart forever. I didn't want it to end.
Great job To the author as usual, drawing us in, and making us feel so apart of something special.
From the moment Lance reached the hospital, to then ending of the book, I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! I was so filled with Lance love, Lucy love, and just LOVE. I knew I would spontaneously combust at any moment. These were the moments you saw Lance for more than just a sexy ball player, with a hot bod with a sexy grin. There was a whole other side of Lance we got to see in this book, and it made me want to curl up and be with him, and never leave his side. Basically, I wanted to marry the man. Lol
Some of my favourite moments were the text shared back and forth between Firecracker and Hotshot, the moments Lance shared with Sammie. There were so many, but it would spoil the story for you, so I'll be vague. Lasts but not least; when he called Lucy his woman, and he called her that many a time, mostly to make a point and to aggravate her, but deep down he meant it. I adored Lance! Swoon
The moment when all truths were revealed about Lucy's secret, turned out differently than expected. I thought the author was so smart in handling it the way she did. Just wow!
Lance was the paragon of hotness, and sex appeal. Make no mistake ladies, he turned out to be the best man any woman could ask for. I mean OMG!, knock me over with a feather. I thought I'd faint. This man was perfect.
In closing, I could have continued to read on about this couple forever and never be bored of it. They were so special. A passionate, fiery couple full of love. I will miss their sexy, love/hate banter that consumed this couples relationship. They definitely kept us entertained, frustrated, sharing in their laughing, crying; celebrating their joys, happiness, feeling their sadness, and anger even. One things for sure, they will be missed. We love you Lance and Lucy!

PLAYING HARDBALL (part 5)

This was the best book of the series. It will take you up down and sideways. Love Lucy and Lance and the way they not only grew and matured together as a couple but also as individuals. This series will keep you turning pages from part 1 til the last page of part 5 and leave you with a happy heart as it all comes out in the end. A true recomended series to read this author never disappoints.

A great series Sharon Cummin. She will have you laughing, crying, and just plain falling in love with this couple.
I enjoyed reading this book for the most part. Some of the sex scenes were over done, but it was still an entertaining book.
Omg What a great storyline this book had, and the characters in this story were excellent. I enjoyed reading all of the books in this series, but this one was amazing to read. Passionate love, drama and sexual romance in this story. The author did an excellent job in writing this book. ENJOY
